Happy Monday!

Whew! What a week! 

Sorry I didn't post last week. I guess I was recovering from the buffet last weekend! 

I just finished my thank you notes to everyone who attended and dropped them in the mail. Who knew that would be such a task!? I ran out of thank you notes!!! I had to make more! 

In my quest to be efficient, I pulled from the Everyday Occasions Card Kit! And I love it! 

These are just a few of what this kit has to make. There's all occasions, too. I just chose to only make thank you cards, being I was in a bind! 

Needless to say, I finished, and just got these notes out to the mailbox. Maybe you'll get one of the ones I pictured? Or one from another stash of mine? 

Either way, I appreciate everyone so much for coming and making all the work so very worth it! 

I know many of you couldn't make it for one reason or another, and I am planning one ONE more session this coming Friday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00.

My most helpful helper and I have already planned out the pages for our Hello December project and after watching this video I can't wait to get a few embellished a bit more. Then all we will have to do is take and print our photos and slide them in...

Treats Anyone?

This is just option for this weekend's buffet! There will be lots of treats to choose from to suit your sweet toothed loved ones!  This picture is angled kinda funny to show all the elements, but we use the fry box die and some retired tulle ribbon along with the designer craft card stock. I'll do a more in depth post in the days to come if you are interested in any of these products!

Christmas Buffet Sneak Peek!

It's coming along quite nicely and I wanted to give everyone a sneak peek of what I have so far. 

Lots and lots of tubs, easy to go with kits for you to make your Christmas Cards with minimal work. I have lots of each kit available so plan on mass producing!

If you haven't yet, please RSVP so I know you are coming. Even ifnyoumknow you won't me making it, I'd still love to hear from you so I'm not wondering :). Also, spots are filling and I'd hate to tell anyone no!!  I'll just plan on a few more days!

I'll be placing an order before the buffet, so if there's something little you need and want to get the flat rate 10% shipping, let me know soon! So check your adhesives and whatnot! You wouldn't imagine what I'm running out of...I've torn through more packs of paper and envelopes than I can count and it's time to replenish!!

Christmas Card, Tag & Treat Buffet!

I'm tossing around and stressing out about the dates for my Christmas Card, Tag, and Treat Buffet....maybe too much! I'm worried Saturday will be crazy recovering from Halloween... Thoughts?

As of now, I'm planning on 

Friday, November 7 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm

Saturday, November 8 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm

Sunday, November 9 from 10:00 am until 4:00

Monday, November 10 from 10:00 am until 2:00

I will tentatively plan on this coming Saturday and Sunday (10:00-4:00), if there's interest, but would feel better making it even bigger and better the following weekend!

Last month for card class, we filled and did not have a seat for anyone else! So please RSVP to reserve your spot. This is a good time to bring a friend! I will have a special treat for the first 5 of you who RSVP! If we've chatted about it, please still remind  me so I have an organized record!

Keep in mind these times are an open house style schedule, meaning come as soo as you can, work as long as you want, and stay until you must leave! But come in the timeframe that works best for you. 

I will have tons of prizes, giveaways and fun. There will be light snacks and refreshments but feel free to bring something if you're worried you'll be starving and planning a all-dayer! 

Also, for the first time ever, I'm asking that you bring your own adhesive. I will still provide envelopes, though. I will have adhesives available for sale as a cash and carry item if there's something you know you'll need.

I'm not holding a session on Friday after all. As everyone seemed to want Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, I'm going to stick with those days and take the time to prep on Friday. See you all at the other sessions!

For those of you who are new to my email list, this is how it works:  We get together at my home, have snacks and refreshments, make 3 cards (that you keep!), using new products, techniques, and have fun!  The cost is $10

Please bring a friend!  RSVP for directions and a guaranteed spot.  Some sessions are filling faster than others, so let me know soon! :

Update Your Calendars!

No stampin' project today, but I needed to update the calendar!

After having a rough first half of our week, with catching colds, I haven't been able to keep up with prepare for the Open House I posted about on Tuesday.

I will however, be having my 3 for $10 card class, the following weekend.  So mark your calendars:

Saturday September 27, 10:00-Noon

Wondrous Wreath

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are enjoying your Monday!  Last week I posted a video featuring the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set and coordinating framelits.  If you were viewing that post in your email, I hope you took a quick minute to click over here to my blog to watch the video.  If you didn't, here's that blog post again.  

As I said before, I was super hesitant to use this stamp set, as it looked "tricky."  Can you believe the genius that thought of the tabs!?  So smart!  I hope they continue this in the future with other non-symmetrical sets.

So after watching the video, I decided it was time to give it a shot.  I got out my stamp set and framelits and created this:

This was my first time lining it all up and it was easy!  With the help of the magnetic platform and photopolymer stamps, it made it almost fool proof!

First I stamped in crumb cake, then used soft suede for the darker leaves, then finished it off with cajun craze berries.  I love that it is a "Christmas" set that can be easily adapted to a fall (or other season) theme.
